CSC Rising U11 Tryouts

The CSC Hurricanes (NCSL) are hosting tryouts in conjunction with the CSC Cyclones (NCSL) and CSC Avalanche (ODSL).

CSC’s three (3) rising U11 Boys teams are looking to add talented players to our teams as we enter into 8v8 play.   Our teams focus training on individual skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  We want the boys to have fun training, to develop a love for the game while giving everyone an opportunity to be the best player they can be.   Team training is conducted by VYSA licensed coaches and professional soccer trainers.  There are 2 NCSL teams and 1 ODSL team that are not set up in an “A”, “B”, “C” format.  All 3 teams work closely together during practices.

Tryouts are on the following dates

• Tuesday May 21st at Eagle View Elementary School 6:30 to 8
• Friday May 24th at Crossfields Elementary School 6:30 to 8
• Tuesday May 28th at Eagle View Elementary School 6:30 to 8

We are scheduled to play the VBSC Wolfpack at Oakton HS field #1 this Sunday
at 4:30 pm.

DIRECTIONS

Take I66 to the Nutley street exit, exit 62 (Rt. 243). Take take Nutley
Street North. Turn left onto Virginia Center Blvd.(first left after I66
ramps). Follow Virginia Center Parkway until it turns into Country Creek Rd.
Country Creek Rd. will then intersect Sutton Rd. Go straight into the Oakton
High School field complex. This field is on the upper field on the far side
of the baseball field. Follow the path up the hill to the stadium bleachers.
Turn right and go past the baseball field to the small sided soccer field.

• Please arrive no later than 4:00 with cleats tied, water bottle, and wearing red jersey.

• As always, bring your white jersey just in case.
• The field is a few minute walk from the parking lot, so leave yourself plenty of time.

Hi Team,

Crossfields is closed thru this weekend.

We will practice tonight 6:30 – 8 at Eagle View Elem.

We are no longer lining Crossfields at 9 AM Saturday.

Volunteers are needed at 12 Noon at Oakton High School to line a small sided field there.

Hurricanes Sunday November 4 game

We are playing the Stafford Revolution 02 Boys Blue Club on Sunday at 3:00 at Smith Lake Park on field 2A. Please arrive no later than 2:30. Since the location is far away, leave yourselves plenty of time. If your son needs a ride, let me know.

Wear red (but bring white).

The fields are Turf fields. There are benches on the field for the team to use during the match. There are no bleachers for spectators on or near the field. Chairs can be used on the grass areas only surrounding the field. Indoor restroom facilities are available as well. There is a parking area near the fields as well but can get full very quickly with multiple events going on.

From I-95 take exit 143B, Rt 610, towards Garrisonville. Follow Rt 610, Garrisonville Road, northwest about 1 mile. Turn right at the light after Moncure Elementary onto Doc Stone Rd, Rt 659. At the stop sign, proceed straight over on Doc Stone Road. Follow Doc Stone Rd until it dead ends into to Smith Lake Park (about a mile).
